I love this charming series. Hope my chapter books are as good. Is it silly? Yes, but kids will enjoy it. It has action, humor, and it has dragons, heroes, and kids being kids. The adults are silly stereotypes mostly. But the kids are the stars. And the artwork is delightful. Definitely recommended.
Suffers from silliness done for the name of comedy. These are people purporting to train kids to kill dragons yet they run in fear and act like they've never seen one. While it's for comedic touches, it really pushed the limits of belief this time around and the story suffered for it.
