Oh my goodness! This book was crazy! There were so many things going on from a fallen TV evangelist who drives a Cadillac and looks like Elvis Presley, to bed-and-breakfast, formerly a real “henhouse,” run by three middle-aged flamboyant women, and a Mexican drug lord who escaped from prison and has...
I made it 14%. Which is amazing, because I was ready to give up at 3%. I don't like it when the foundation of the whole plot rests on a ridiculous and pointless lie. But I pushed on to see how it would go.So at 14%, we've met Faith - a shy, Chicago-based woman who is on the hunt for her long-lost tw...
The Christmas Cabin: Valentine Valley, Book 0.5 by Emma Cane - 3 Stars Emma Cane penned a sweet, gentle, romance in The Christmas Cabin. I don't generally gravitate towards books with children in them - because they so often feel like plot-muppets - but I actually liked Nate, though he acted older...

I recently went to visit my sister in Sheridan, Wyoming. I was completely enthralled by the culture there, including (but not limited to) cute, charming cowboys. So I saw this little gem pop up on the B&N top 100 list, and I just had to get it.This is written from both the point of view of Faith, ...
