I will never get tired of Eve and her social anxiety. Makes me laugh every time!

As with all the 'in death' books, I enjoyed the mystery and the people in the book. However, in this one, I didn't care for, what seemed to me, a sudden change of Eve's character. Up until now, she has been hard as nails through all manner of gruesome crime scenes. Yet, in this book, there is a mar...

I would have given it a 5 star, but I hate that 29 books in we still have to revist the trauma from Eve's past. If you've read the series, then you already know. Not perfect because I started to question why Roarke was involved in all aspects of the police work. Did love the interactions between the characters.

The latest installment in the Eve Dallas and Rourke series. In my opinion this has been one of the best. Thoroughly enjoyed it and if anyone is interested … YES … I would still time travel to meet Rourke!

Not much to say about this story. Once again I enjoyed an Eve Dallas mystery. This one, we learn more details about Eve's past which isn't pretty. Roarke is once again a lovely and supportive husband. There's just something lovely about this man. I wish there was more about Roarke.
