The last in the Kiki Strike books. I liked it, but I found it a bit hard to get into. What was fresh and enchanting in the first book, and even the second, seemed a bit forced here, I thought. I think a lot of other people loved it, so it’s ENTIRELY possible that it just wasn’t the book for me.

A stand-alone! This is an Oliver Twist'esque tale with a snappy and brilliant protagonist named Flick. The grownups are all venal hypocrites, the students manipulated jackasses. Over all, though, it was an entertaining read.Surprise ending. Nice.

I loved this book. As a book seller I could not sell it to teens. I felt the very adult subject matters would've put e in hot water with the parents. It was a GREAT recommend to the adults though.

I liked this one a lot! Maybe just a little bit less than the first book, if only because it’s not shiny and new. But there’s plenty of fun and hijinks.

Well, whatever.I managed to fi...

The lead in this one is pretty awesome in a cocky and bad ass and wise to the ways of the world kind of way. And his world? It's a violent one. I feel that that's the most remarkable thing about HTLaLoC how there's always something worse that could happen, and then how it all feels like it's happene...

I just could not get into How to Lead a Life of Crime. I started it about a week ago and never picked it up again the rest of the week. In fact I finished four other books while that one sat there....this is never a good sign. Overall I just do not care to read about leading a life of crime or liste...
