So, Terree convinced me to dust this series off of my TBR pile and to give it a try. As we have split the reviews, even though I am reading the whole series, I am only reviewing half of them and so the story of Dante and Tess fell to me...Dante is a Breed warrior, a member of the order, and generall...

I listened to the audio book of this installment. I really enjoyed the narrator's take on the book. Kiss of Crimson starts off couple of months after Kiss of Midnight ended. It focuses on the Warrior Dante, with viewpoints from Tess the veterinarian who saved him. Circumstances surrounding rouge vam...
She Thought What?!?! Rants, Raves, and In-Betweens
Kiss of Crimson by Lara Adrian (Midnight Breed book 2)I was told to read this if I liked the BDB series, which I love. I found this to be enjoyable, but very similar to BDB. MB has potential, and I continue to read it.

I liked this one a lot. I didn't love it. Not sure why. I am not giving up on this series though. I like the premise and the author is fabulous!

I liked this book a lot better than the first, which only got three stars. I wonder why, really since I liked this book so much compared to the first book but I think it has something to do with all the world building there always is in the first book of any series. I liked Dante a lot more than Luc...

Once I started reading Kiss Of Crimson I couldn't put it down. All story elements are tightly woven together and I gobbled it all up but it is Tess and Dante whom elevated this story from its predecessor. They touched me with a range of emotions flowing between them as well as their individual strug...

Great story! The only thing that bugged me is that the closure was so fast. Everything resolved too easily.
