I really liked this introduction to a new series (for me). You start to wonder after a while if you should even attempt a new series, and risk inevitable comparisons to other series in the same genre. There are many, many people who compare this to BDB - but in a negative way. Well, let's see... the...

The story starts with a savage attack on a young woman by a vampire, she being saved, along with her baby and continues twenty-seven years later with that baby. Gabrielle's mother was sent to an insane insylum because of her claim of a vampire attack and Gabrielle was raised in several foster homes...

Talking about being in the wrong place at the wrong time or maybe not ... After all, from one disaster comes what is meant to be.When Gabrielle witnesses the brutal attack on a human she never would have guessed that it would be a life changing moment and the needles would set track for a trip into ...

I can see how some say it's a rip off of bob but I still enjoyed it. Loved me some Lucan. And Gabrielle was a good heroine. Had some sadness. Poor Danika. Good book

Um, so I liked this more than I probably should have. I guess its the difference between a good story written poorly and a not-so-good story written well. I've read a lot of good ideas/plots that have been written very poorly lately - this was a goofy plot that was well-written. Gonna chalk this up ...

3.5 stars. For me the first 50% of this book was very slow and rather, dare I say it, boring. It just didn't gel with me. After the 50% mark things started to happen quicker and I found myself getting really into it. Therefore, I'll give it the three and a half stars.

It has been years since I first read this book. Aimee and I decided to split the series up and do a re-read because of the recent release of Edge of Dawn, and I was game! I had read all of the Midnight Breed Series and I enjoyed them. I’ve only read this series once so I was more that ready for a re...

3,5 starsI am aware that this is a highly praised book here on GR, and most of my friends loved it. Yet, I don't feel the hype.A couple of years ago, I joined the paranormal romance bandwagon. I added many books of the genre to my TBR and claimed it was my absolute favourite genre. However, as I stan...

I know this book came out several years ago, but I feel like I've read this same story over and over again. Girl loves vampire, he's too dangerous to love her back. I wasn't blown away by the concept or the characters in general. I'll continue to read the series in hopes the next books are better.
