What do you get when you take a vampire warrior who just so happens to be a commitment phobe with daddy/sibling issues, and a headstrong woman who hasn’t been laid in months, who was adopted and has mommy issues? You get the same damn Vampire Paranormal Romance you’ve read since the beginning of tim...

Great introduction into the Midnight breeds world. I like how we are given snippets of info, not told it all in one go. I devoured this book in no time at all, not cos its a quick read, no its cos i couldn't put it down. With it being on my kindle, i had it in my hand all the time, even while out wa...

My only complaint really is that I can not stand the use if "her sex, his sex". The line was in every sex scene. Other then that this book held my attention. the plot was good and the characters seemed well developed.

Rating: 3.5 Stars I'll admit that I was more than a little skeptical about reading Kiss of Midnight. After having just finished Dark Lover by J.R. Ward and not liking it, I was wary of the hype surrounding this novel as well. In addition, the more I read of it, the more similar it seemed to be to Da...

This book is right up my alley, it has all the Urban Fantasy elements that I love: Crafty and powerful Witches and Warlocks (check!) Strong and pretty friendly vampires (check!) Hot and steamy werewolves (check!) Deadly and somewhat unhinged fairies (check!) Unknown superpower as the main chara...

Interesting beginning to the series, even though it reminded me on the BDB series by J.R.Ward, they were some differences like the breed mate, the fact that they are aliens and they can not able to create women vampires. It had a good pace to it, even though some of the scenes were slightly predicta...

3.5 StarsLucan is an ancient vampire warrior. His life's mission is to protect the world from the Rogues of his kind, fellow vampires who can no longer control their bloodlust. That's the cause for which all the vampires in the Breed fight. Unlike some of his brothers, however, Lucan does not take c...
