I enjoyed this Kitty book more than its immediate predecessors which frustrated me because Kitty rarely involved her pack in anything, even though she's the alpha; we heard virtually nothing from her radio show and and her mate, Ben, kept being sent out of the way while Kitty saved the day. "Kitt...
Cormac is in this one and he has a nice supporting part:-) There are nice, entertaining mysteries in this book. Yes, more than one!! I kept wondering where the storyline was going with Speedy Mart. I also wondered what was up with Cormac. Adjusting to life outside of prison? Or something more?...
Well Kitty has gotten herself tied up in the leftover mess from the last book. Were-solders uber strong, uber angry, uber messed up, are back from the war and officials are looking for help. Wait** That was supposed to be stopped right, no more experiments ??!? When has the Gov. ever given up on "m...
Like many of the other novels making up the Kitty Norville Series, there's never a dull moment with this one. Kitty, following one of her nighttime syndicated radio shows, finds herself being sued for libel from a powerful CEO of a nationwide chain of convenience stores. He takes exception to sev...
The tension in this one is really good, but after everything is said and done, I still find the Cormac possession bit to be a little out there. That's saying something, considering all the cray shit that goes down in these books.
When a pack of Green Berets infected with lycanthropy goes rogue, and on United States soil no less, the NIH calls in Kitty Norville, talk-show host and werewolf. Shell-shocked from war as much as from being were-wolves, the soldiers are having a hard time of it. Kitty tries her best, but she's di...
The government has a job for Kitty – or a request anyway. It seems that that nasty idea of werewolf soldiers has actually gone forward. Not officially, but a werewolf soldier thought it was a great idea and created his own little pack/squad. The problem? Well, a mortar round landing on him in Afghan...
Two plot lines here. First in the A plot Kitty deals with two werewolves who’ve recently come home from war. They were turned over there and used as super soldiers, though in a great twist not by the government but by an overenthusiastic soldier who dies over there. And since they’ve lost their l...
I'm listening to the audiobook and I also have the paperback.Sad book. Kitty is called in to an army base to work with the remainder of a pack started by a superior officer in the Persian Gulf. When the alpha was killed, there was constant fighting within the pack which included multiple killings....
These books are like fluffy, fun candy. Not particularly deep, but the I love the characters and find them very easy to relate to. I also adore the fact that the main character is in a stable marriage and not lusting after all the guys. Plus yay, more scenes of Kitty's radio show in this book.
