I really liked this book. After being diappointed after the last few books in the series, I was happy that this one seemed to be back on track. Kitty's support group is back, love the Ben, Cormac and Kitty dynamic. I read in less than a day, didn't want to put this one down.
OK so... short n sweet. I didn't love this one as much as I did the previous books. I still thoroughly enjoyed it, don't get me wrong. I just am really left thinking... Amelia? What the hell?
I liked this series, but I'm glad this is it for a while. It ended well, and now Cormack is something else.. which is weird, but that's the way it should be I suppose. I didn't really care for the military talk, but I'm really happy that she helped socialize that werewolf soldier. All in all, I'm ok...
After House of Horrors, this one is a let down in big and small ways. My complaints are are essentially differences between what she wanted to write and what I wanted to read.It does include a few interesting developments for future examination.
More like 2.7 - This is a transition book. Not a ton happens but is used as a set up. Now, not only do we have weres and vamps, we have wizzards. There is something big happening and we shall see what it is.

Kitty still has nightmares about what happened there, but she is easing back into her life. And Cormac is back in play, forging a new li...
I love Kitty but this one just in away the second story line kind of fell flat for me.I think part of it was the deal with Cormac REALLY??...and the whole magic thing was just anti-climatic. Despite that Kitty and the military was kind of cool and as always it was nice to see Ben and Kitty back with...
I hate to admit it, but after the last book I expected a lot of people to die in this one. I should have known better, but that is what I expected anyway.I'm still trying to figure out why Walter tried to help Vanerman, I guess he didn't see that Vanderman was just too far gone to be saved. I didn't...
This was pretty low-key for a Kitty Norville book, but I'm okay with that. I liked the werewolf soldiers plot, though the weather wizard plot seemed random and unimportant. Both plots were resolved relatively straightforwardly, which can be nice sometimes. Looking forward to the next book, as always...
