I've always been a fan of L.E. Modesitt, Jr.'s recluse novels, because he writes many of them as duologies or individual books within the larger series, so you don't necessarily have to read all eight million or however many books (17 currently - soon to be 18) are actually in the Recluse Series. ...

I find it interesting that in a book called Princeps the main character only holds the title of princeps for the first few chapters. Modesitt continues in one of his best series to date. Queryt is a fascinating character and watching him do such disparate things as try to straiten up a city riddled ...

This was such a great read!!! This anthology has an amazing theme. It was so fun. Some stories were better than others. My favorite was the one by Naomi Novik.
