I read this one a long time ago, so I mostly remember it. It was all right. I liked the beginning a lot, and then everything seemed to dissolve into "miscommunication-land" and I got bored. I think this is why I usually like romances of the paranormal/action-adventure kind. I'd rather there be a big...

4 ½ stars. If you looked up the word “minx” in the dictionary I’m sure there would be a picture of Lucy Waltham next to it. Sure, a lot of authors say their heroine is a minx, but Tessa Dare shows us she is; it’s delightful. Such a charming read, it kept me up most of the night.Lucy has been the ...

Really more of a 4 1/2 stars on this one. I loved Jeremy and Lucy, they were great together! I loved the way the romantic scenes between them were written, very hot and sizzling with emotional energy. The story lost 1/2 a star because I felt there were a few things left unresolved. The thing drivin...

Pretty good. As usual when it comes to me and romances, I wish there were a more substantial non-romantic plot, but Tessa Dare writes really good characters. The excerpt for the second book in this trilogy from the back of this book has me dying to get my hands on it!

This is a very cliche historical romance story...nothing very original or actually relating to the time period the book is set in. However, it was still very fun to read! The characters are all entertaining, the story is engaging and enjoyable...overall I'm glad I picked it up. I definitely don't w...

This book was fabulous! My only quibble--perhaps unsurprisingly, coming from me, is that I wanted more of a resolution to the subplot about Jeremy's estate.I loved Sophia, too--she has become one of my favorite new-best-friend characters ever! I'm excited to read her book...and Toby's! Toby seems ch...

Since she was a child, Fall has always meant Lucy's brother Henry and his friends, Felix, Toby, and Jeremy. Now Lucy is 19, Henry and Felix are married, and Toby is almost engaged. But Lucy wants Toby to marry her, not Ms. Hathaway. She plans to seduce him, but is not experienced, and she needs to p...

Her heart was breaking, and there wasn't anything he could do. She wasn't his sister. She wasn't his betrothed. She wasn't his, and that was the whole damned problem.I stared to read this book with quite a bit of enthusiasm. It had gotten quite a bit of praise, the cover is very nice and the aut...

Dang! Why aren't there more stars? This book hit me right where I wanted it to right when I needed it. Funny, heart-wrenching, and incredibly romantic, I had a very hard time getting this story out of my head when I had to put it down to go do those tedious things that other humans expect of me.A...
