Meh...it was ok. I know Mac is only supposed to be 29, but when I envision him he's about 55. This puts a damper on it for me. I didn't find the story a page turner, but it poked along at an even pace. I enjoyed the first book much better. On to book 3....hopefully it will appeal to me more!

I liked it.Isabella is an extremely attractive wife. She lives on her own, she has fabulous parties, she's married to a handsome painter whom she never speaks to and loves children. What's not to love about her?Mac is a handsome, passionate, kind and a little flawed painter. He's married to the most...

Isabella and MacPretty good book. I did find myself looking forward to every scene that Ian was in though. He is just a show stealer.

Smart Historical Romance. This book flowed better than The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie and I found Isabella and Mac's story to be beautiful and flawed. These MacKenzie men do something to me and I can't wait to read more.

When I read the "teaser" chapter at the end of Book #1 "The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie", I was afraid... very, very afraid. Mac and Isabella are introduced to us in Book #1, but I wasn't at all sure I liked either of them. And I had a hard time imagining an entire book about the two of them.Boy, ...

After reading the first book in the Highland Pleasures Series I was extremely excited to start more of these books, but sadly LADY ISABELLA'S SCANDALOUS MARRIAGE was quite dull in comparison to The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie. The story and the plot isn't so bad, but what really got me was the roma...
