This is my favorite Lauren Dane book and I love many of hers. She has an amazing skill with writing and portraying emotion, almost movie like in visualization. The story of Todd, Ben, and Erin is beautiful and touching. The title is appropriate, as it will lay you bare emotionally.Remember that t...

An emotional, sensual, and very engaging journey to a nontraditional relationship. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but after reading books three and four (Inside Out and Never Enough) I wanted to know more about these characters. So glad I read it, and will be reading Brody's story soo...

Felt this book could have ended earlier without some of the add ons. I dislike an author who doesn't incorporate important details, then adds then haphazardly later. I did enjoy the book. Hot scenes & I really liked Erin & Todd. I would rate it 3.75 stars

The story was okay. Not enough conflict for me. Decent enough but I just like more conflict.

I have really mixed feelings about this book. The first half was amazing, incredible, and I think if it would have continued on like that, it would have been a 5 star book. Todd and Erin were made for each other and I loved them together. The introduction of Ben to their relationship felt uncomforta...

I'm now wondering whether those people and I were reading the same story. But,to each his own, I guess. I just didn't feel anything for Dane's ch...

A few pages into this, I started to feel like King Louis in “Start the Revolution Without Me” -- I thought it was Romantic Suspense! Trust me to barely finish one book because it had too much sex and to then pick up another that turns out to be D/s erotica with menage. But it did suck me in, no gr...

The first half was a hot D/s story, but halvway through it changes into a menage story(with very little BDSM). And not a good menage. The book just fell apart.

This is the first time I've felt the need to review a book that is predominantly erotica; I mean, most of the time they either do their job right (make you hot under the collar) or they don't and there's rarely much more to be said about it in my opinion. However, Laid Bare was an erotic novel that ...

Since Undercover I knew Lauren Dane could deliver a smoking hot novel fraught with emotional depth and she has delivered it all over again with Laid Bare. Nothing could prepare me for the in-depth characterization of three people whose thoughts, feelings and experiences punched me in the gut and lef...
