Not a huge fan of her writing style, and the romance seemed a bit forced. But the plot around the hero and his sister was very compelling. I just think the bar is set pretty high for me with Highlander romances thanks to Outlander and Pride of Lions/Blood of Roses.
Feisty. Very enjoyable mix of bloodthirstiness and romance, a veritable Romeo and Juliet with the heroes destined to love that which they should despise. Some gripe about the historical inaccuracy of the male/female relations, but they didn't bother me in the least. Definitely a re-readable book.
