This book was enjoyable, but it was a little too bizarre. Personally, it really didn't make a lot of sense to me. At some points, I didn't know if it was supposed to be funny or if it was just plain weird. I admit, though, that it is a unique story and it has great illustrations.
It's steampunk for kids! So much fun. Great story, great characters... great illustrations. I adored it. I wish I could read it again for the first time.
Highly enjoyable, hilarious at times, with an excellent narrator, great vocabulary and an adventure in true British style.
