Thanks to Kate for this rec. I really enjoyed it. There were some typo/grammar errors, but nothing that bugged me too bad. I like the world that's been created. I have a lot of questions still... but hope to get more answers in book 2!

The story was wonderful, but the execution was lacking. As other reviewers mentioned, a good editor would have greatly improved this novel -- in my case, it would have meant a 4th star.
