Lemony Snicket's writing is brilliant in its darkness. I must say I'm enjoying myself reading about the unfortunate events of the three Baudelaire orphans.

How fascinating to be able to see the world through the eyes of children again. To feel the frustration of adults always either telling you not to interrupt or basically patting you on the head and telling you to run along because they think they know better.And to have it all end with the orphans ...
