I agree with a couple of reviewers who felt that the controversy surrounding this book is much more interesting than the book itself. I gave it 3 stars, but I was pushing it AND I did walk away learning a couple of things. Things written in this book are no different than in other women's issues boo...

I really enjoyed this book, and a lot of it hit close to home, particularly in the earlier chapters and all the mentions of women needing/wanting permission to be successful. Phew!A lot of the later chapters are about mothering and partnership.

Sandberg is the COO of Facebook and discusses how women (and society) sabotage women's careers. Women need to take risks, find partners who will assume their fair share of the household/childcare chores and 'lean in' to the challenges of the working world. I found Sandberg surprisingly self-deprec...
