Detective Lily Blanchette’s first case as lead investigator is big: two college students struck down by a theatrical killer.

While politicians and the press clamor for quick closure, Lily realizes this case bears frightening similarities to her sister’s unsolved murder — a murder her father died trying to solve.

Lily’s search for answers threatens to destroy her marriage and her remaining family, but she can’t quit. To stop the killer, she must avoid becoming the next victim.

Author Interview:
Q. How did you get started writing?
A. I’ve been writing since 2000 as a hobby, but soon realized that I wanted more. I wanted my works to be read. In 2009, I set out to hone my craft with the hope of writing an awesome story that would entertain my readers.
It's my passion to be here for my readers.

Q. Why do you write crime novels?
A. I love writing crime novels. It keeps me focused on doing what I have always enjoyed, criminal investigation.

Five years ago, I was on my way to sign up for the police academy when I learned I was expecting my fourth baby. So I did the next best thing. Write.

Q. How many books have you written?
A. I have written three books.

My latest novel, Led By Lies introduces us to Detective Lily Blanchette who investigates a case that bears frightening similarities to her sister’s unsolved murder — a murder her father died trying to solve.

Burned Bridges, a novella from the Crossing Series, was released in 2012 and soon will be followed by, Raging Rivers, which is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2014. Burned Bridges fans will get a chance to see Traci’s new life and connect with Oliana, now seventeen, as she uncovers family secrets about her past and who killed her best friend.

Q. What is the Crime Writers' Panel?
A. Crime Writers Panel is a free online workshop put together by a team of writers, including members of law enforcement and forensics. We provide guidelines to help authors craft realistic situations; starting with the initial dispatch of a call, continuing through CSI investigation and encompassing gritty procedures from an officer's point-of-view.

Q. What are you currently working on?
A. I’m currently working on the next book in the Lies Series, titled, Inherited Lies. Detective Lily Blanchette investigates the murder of a former colleague. One suspect is a family member she had no idea existed.

Q. How would you describe your new main character?
A. Detective Lily Blanchette: Dedicated, Driven, Despises Lies and HEELS!

Q. What's next for you?
A. Next on my list is to work on my upcoming shows for Crime Writers’ Panel. All of us at CWP have crazy schedules and we’re looking forward to starting a new season filled with information to help writers who are doing research for their books.

Also, I’m working on some joint ventures with two other authors, Kathy Ryan and Darcie Duranceau.

One of the projects is Dead Silent, the first in a mystery series.

The second project is a blog dedicated to all of the moms in the world where they can come and share their stories among other women who understand and know them well.
