Posunął w moją stronę mały zeszyt i ołówek. Na białej wyklejce tylnej wewnętrznej okładki przedzieliłem koło literą S i zaczerniłem połówkę jin, po czym oddałem notes Estravenowi.
- Czy znasz ten symbol? - spytałem.
Przyglądał mu się dłuższą chwilę z dziwnym wyrazem twarzy.
- Nie - powiedział.
