Another one of Lewis Carroll's masterpieces, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a great book for the 4th grade student and older. I would have this in my classroom library for older grades for independent reading. This story highlights the importance of creativity, imagination, and a little bit of ...
I'm a sucker for Alice's adventures, I feel believing in impossible things is a good mantra for life in general. It was nice to revisit a childhood favourite and spend some time in wonderland, instead of the real world. 5/5 stars
Rok temu przeczytałem sobie pierwszą część aby ocenić tę książkę dla dzieci ale z punktu widzenia czytelnika dorosłego. Po roku podjąłem kolejne wyzwanie i sięgnąłem po część drugą. I niestety poległem. O ile w pierwszej Alicji byłem w stanie znaleźć kilka ciekawych nawiązań i motyw przewodni, to ...

No retelling, no reimagining, just adding gorgeous illustrations to an already wonderful and whimsical story. I can't tell you how giddy I was upon realizin...

I read this book as part of the Dead Writers Society Literary Birthday Challenge for 2016. We read dead authors books whose birthday falls within a particular month. I will see if I have time for another author. I picked this one since it was my favorite as a child. Re-reading as an adult though I r...
