I actually really enjoyed this book. I love libraries and reading so it looked interested when it appeared in a poll for one of my group's monthly reads. It's a bit predictable and I see a love triangle on the horizon, but I like the characters and I think I will continue reading the series.

The protagonist is annoying, the premise is daft, and I'm fairly certain that the translation is dodgy, but I've read worse.

I really do like the premise of Library Wars, that the battle against censorship has become very literal. The Library Defense Force is an interesting concept. And I like the vaguely Utena-like idea that Kasahara was inspired by her "prince" to try and become like him. But the execution was somewhat ...

I'm not normally a romance person, but Library Wars has one of the few types of romance that I actually enjoy. Another good issue, with a bit more action

This is such a great series! I need to read it more often. Wonderful characters, visually appealing art, a great story, too!
