Fascinating, but really yoked two totally separate subjects into one book.
It took me nearly a month to read this book! I could only read and absorb about one chapter a day. This is certainly not recreational reading. I learned so much, I wouldn't know where to begin! Peter Hopkirk is a master historian and an excellent writer. This is the second book of his that I've ...
