A well told story with a compelling background. If you love learning about the US Civil War, this book will grab your attention.

I didn't get it.I had high hopes for this, and the first half was interesting enough-and gave the story the ability to be great, but I think it just fell through, at least for me. It was such an odd story anyway, and instead of making it better...the twists and turns just made it even less interesti...
