Could have done with more of an ending, but I love these characters, so loved being back in their world. :)Review to come (eventually)

Castle Waiting is one of those fairy tales that has this feeling of wonder and the kind of storytelling that no one has been able to really reproduce since the classics became classics. It's not about the whiz-bang, it's not about showing off supernatural creatures or mythical lands of magically ma...

I can see why Ms. Medley was unhappy that this was published without it being complete. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Lovely. It ended abruptly and I hope that there's more but it was still satisfying and whimsical while teaching about tolerance, feminism and diversity.I could write more but you need to see for yourself.

This is a fun and sweet story of the characters associated with a castle. A few familiar tales touch base, but then another story takes over, leaving a few threads dangling. I enjoyed the illustrations and the good humor.

How do fairy tale characters live when they're not the main focus of the story? A pregnant lady begs for help at Sleeping Beauty's castle, and slowly she and her baby become part of the daily grind there. The art is pretty and the idea is a good one, but somehow it's all very boring.
