I love discovering new forms of poetry (like the fabulous reverso in Mirror Mirror A Book of Reversible Verse. I had never heard of sijo (a Korean form of poetry) and I am very glad to have discovered it. The form is a bit like haiku in that it is three lines long and has a syllabic structure. The l...

I feel this is the younger version of What is the What by Dave Eggers. The switching narratives were great to hold the attention span of middle school children and the cliff-hangers are sure to be nerve-wracking.

Who knew pandas could be such party animals? A fun, engaging story. Phelan's brilliant illustrations make the most of the humor and bring depth to the story.

3.5. Some of the stories are better/more memorable than others, but overall this is a nice collection of short stories by some great authors.

Amazing book! The way the two separate stories combine at the end brought years to my eyes. There are so many insights into the human spirit to be deemed from this book.

A fun way to teach history, and really get kids and young adults into learning. Even as an older teen, and adult, I still learned from these books, and enjoyed the ride along the way.

This book of anthologies was a good read. I enjoyed most of the stories in it. Some were better than others but as a whole, it was great. The writing in some stories was a bit juvenile, but I felt with the others being as wonderful as they were, it makes up for the lack of quality in some of the sho...
