The thing I loved about this book is the moment the hero became attracted to the heroine. He did not come over to her because he was coming on to her. He came over because she looked sad and he is a nice guy. He becomes massively attracted to her the moment he notices her attraction to him. Its hot...
Review written for Hearts On Fire ReviewsThis story takes place in Georgia, where Chrissie, who comes from a somewhat high society family, was jilted and left at the altar by Russ. Russ’ brother, Colt, has had a thing for Chrissie since he first met her but has kept out of the picture wanting the c...
Really cute, pure fluff, minimal angst, just a nice, fast, breezy read.Colt, the hero, was quite refreshing. He fell in love with Chrissie the day he met her. Unfortunately, the day he met her was at her engagement party. To his half brother, Russ. So, good guy that he was, Colt resolved to never sa...
Did Lissa really write a heroine who doesn't like coffee? What's Lissa drinking? Of course, coffee...with Kaluha :) Lissa Matthews writes stories about real people who aren't always rich in a monetary sense, but rich in life with friends, lovers and good food (and a touch of coffee). This actually wasn't a bad ending to this trio of books by Lissa Matthews. The heroine in this one was a bit older, but the Hero didn't even realise that because she didn't look her age. She was the usual full-figured woman that I've read throughout these books that I really liked and definitely app...
3.5 StarsThis one wasn't as great as the first but I still liked it. It read a lot quicker than the last one, even though it's already very short, and there were a few scenes that kinda squicked me out. the pool cue that Dallon used on Carrie. Epic Ew. I mean, he could have at least sanitized it fir...
This was...disappointing. Ink spots has been on my TBR list for years. But the price kept me from buying it. I finally got to borrow a copy of it. And I was extremely disappointed in it. It wasn't What I expected it to be. I felt no connection to the characters and I didn't feel the connection betwe...
This has been on my TBR list forever. But...it didn't live up to my expectations...and that really disappoints me. The book wasn't horrible but I found myself bored while reading. And that's just not a fun read. I'll definitely give the other books in the series a chance though. :)
