3.5 stars I haven't read this book since I was 11 years old. It disturbed me then, it disturbs me even more now. I guess with my Sociology background it was quite fascinating to see how societal roles were created among the boys. Thoughts that came to mind were do we naturally desire control by au...

Yeah, okay, this is still a book that high schoolers ought to read. I do think it's deep. I really liked it. Extremely tight, dramatic, meaningful, compelling...this book is killing it. Twisted and disgusting, but a great book. One of those that are very thought provoking, but I would rather the content stay on the pages XD

It took awhile for me to really get into this book, however, it did get pretty interesting. I have heard of this book for so long, but I had no idea what actually happened in it or how it ended. I'm glad I finally got around to reading it, even if it won't make my list of favorites. It was okay.

This was my second re-reading of this modern classic. The first was at college in the 70s. Not much to say except it still holds quite a wallop and doesn't seem dated at all. One of the few required readings in high schools and colleges that really should be required reading.
