"Love Walked In" has a blurb on the cover from Lolly Winston, who wrote "Good Grief." This made me laugh, because "Good Grief" is exactly the book I would compare "Love Walked In" to in a review. I'll remember details about these characters long after I've forgotten everything about the plot. And in the end, it's those little pieces of detail that make the characters real and loveable.

I'm not really sure what to think of this book...it took me a while to get through, because I just wasn't feeling it. And I felt that it wrapped up a little too nicely in the end, as well. But, it was a decent read, I guess...definitely not something I looooved, it was just OK.

I was intrigued by this one, chick lit written by a Ph.D in creative writing. The plot was too predictable and de los Santos was trying too hard to be clever and coy in her dialogue. It was good for a quick read, but it didn't resonate any further than that.

Beautiful. Just an amazingly beautiful and touching story about what love is vs. an idea of what you want love to be.
