Synopsis: (from Goodreads* -- i think Booklikes should include synopsis in every book*) Qhuinn, son of no one, is used to being on his own. Disavowed from his bloodline, shunned by the aristocracy, he has finally found an identity as one of the most brutal fighters in the war against the Lessening...
I'm so glad to say that after the less than stellar recent BDB books, this time Ward delivered all she's promised and more in this last installment. The long awaited book of Qhuinn and Blay may not be perfect in some respects, but it manages to stir the reader's emotions deeply, in the way only the ...
This is my excitement level while reading this book!FINALLY!!! Quay (Quinn and Blay) get their HEA!!! This book was EPIC!!!!My Quinn:My Blay:Quinn and Blay (and we) have been through 10 books to get here! It has been a LONG road. They have been best friends forever. They have seen each other through...
I came into this story already braced for the shear size of this book. I heard the rumbles and grumbles through the grapevine and put this one off, for various reasons. I agree that Blay and Qhuinn's story felt cheated. Yes, there was interaction and development between the two but the shear volume ...

And their HEA was so long coming.Much less of the Omega and the Lessers - thank the Virgin Scribe and lots of minor characters come ...
No. Just...no.I didn't think I'd ever give this book a 1-star rating. But Ward left me with no choice. I even threw the book a little when I was done. This book was filled with utter disappointment. Ward built these two wonderful characters up for years -- and just didn't know how to handle this rela...
I loved that Blay and Qhuinn finally got their HEA but why were there so many side stories? I guess it's to set up future books with new characters but man did Ward have to do it in Qhuay's book? They had very little actual face time for supposedly being the focus of the story. I understand why b...
