I was hooked from the very first page. Voss and Angelica had such an interesting story and connection, it was hard to put the book down.Can't wait to start the next book in the series.
I've mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed the time period. I strongly disliked Voss, and liked how Angelica didn't make things easy for him. He does redeem himself later. The ending was a bit surprising, unexpected.
I didn't really find the beginning of the book very appealing. It was the type of beginning that you kind of need a little push to actually get through the beginning.
