Glorious! Macrieve is an oasis in a desert of dried up stories. I enjoyed every minute. Kresley Cole brought it with this one. Hot twins, check; Sexy Scots, check; tortured Lykae, check; healing love, double check. What more could you ask for? Pitch perfect, it hit all my yummy buttons.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much it pains me not to give this book 5 stars.. I mean, I legit sat and debated with myself after finishing, trying to convince myself that I NEEDED to give it 5 stars. I was saying to myself: “But you liked it Camilla. You even teared up a few times. How is that ...

Really disappointing. The plot is something like this: The heroine falls in love with an abusive antihero. She's always attracted to him even when he insults and humiliates her. In the end, she forgives him because she finds out that he was sexually abused in his childhood. I don't buy this plot as ...

MacRieve was traumatized by a succubus as a child which also resulted in the death of his parents. MacRieve managed to live in a semi-normal state but then he is captured by the order and physically tortured. After he is free from the Order MacRieve is not so sure life is worth living. That is until...

I love returning to KC´s the Lore *happy sigh* This time we get to follow MacRieve, a proud Lykae with a tragic past, how Nix (Nucking Futs Nix) sets him up to be taken to the compound and suffer torture, how he sets out to take revenge on the leader Webb and encounters his mate.. Webb´s daughter, C...

Enjoyable and steamy, but probably my least favorite in this series. The ending was more of a setup for the next book, not a strong HEA.

I enjoyed this far more than I thought I would, since at the beginning it wasn't capturing me--not like Lothaire did. By the middle of the book though I realized how well the author had crafted a tale of sexual recovery from abuse, and how complicated it was for her characters to deal with this. It'...

I had an interesting relationship with this book. It's like cotton candy, once I started in on it I couldn't put it down. But it wasn't very satisfying, and the more I think about it, the less satisfying it becomes.Number one, I never pay attention to the covers of books, because I read everything...

Ned...
