Jacob and June are two young people pulled together with a common thread. They are both wealthy and they are both set to marry people their parents have chosen for them. The only difference is, the thread that brings them together also keeps them apart.

They have chanced a meeting on a platform waiting for separate trains, but that brief time together is enough to set the clock going. June has decided she must marry this man, and distance isn’t going to be an issue.

But when she crosses the country on the hunt for him, she isn’t met with the greeting she hopes for. Circumstance is in the way, and she is told she can never be with the man she loves.

Will June have to give up on the hope of marrying the man she loves? Will he be lost to her forever? Will true love prevail?
