Hmmmm...I am amazed.I know that I'm not supposed to be very happy about how this book went. I mean, considering the number of children who died, being happy is supposedly definitely not one of the top feelings that I should have. However, I thought about it.. And I realized that it's been a long tim...

This is an epic biography! It is thorough, not only giving readers a great portrait of Catherine, but also a great portrait of the place and times in which she lived. This is a lengthy, but extremely readable book.

If this book didn't have a dog as one of the mian characters this would have been a three star for me. Hig survives a super flu out break that kills off everyone he loves except for his dog Jasper and his airplane The Beast (which is also the name of an awesome roller coaster at Kings Island in Cin...

This book was quite the riveting read. Spin the wheel: zombies, aliens, meteors, global warming, pandemics, or just the critical c...

A well written book, using various interviews it beautifully reconstructs the 10 year search of Bin-Laden and the planning and execution of the final Operation which killed him. Well paced and neatly written book.

Peter Bergen, has been on the bin Laden beat for a long time, most notably since he interviewed the al-Qaeda leader in 1997. He has reported the exploits of Osama for the full arc of his career, from freedom fighter for the Afghanis against the Soviet invader, through the rise to infamy of al Qaeda,...

Q: if you could edit this book, what would you take out?A: the words.. . . Have you ever had an eight-year-old kid try to describe to you winning a level of a video game? Have you ever had a middle-aged man try to describe to you completing the games section of the New York Times? Did those experi...

If I hadn't been attempting to get through the alphabet, I'd have probably given up on this one. I mean it was an interesting concept, but it mostly just got on my nerves with the kid asking the same questions over and over.
