Did not finish.Perhaps this book caught a lot of attentions and favouritisms from others but I'm not one of them. Truthfully, I found this story is very dull and yes, I'm bored reading it. I rated this book one-love doesn't mean I hate dogs, I don't, it's just I'm not fond to this book and the writi...
This was one of those few books that had me actually crying real tears rolling down my face. In public. On the subway. BUT, it's also one of those books where the other subway riders patted me on the shoulder and said "I cried too".
This is just a really sweet story. It's much more than a story about a dog, it's about family, life and unconditional love. I laughed and I cried. Loved it.
I ended up giving this a 3 out of 5. While I know people have raved about this book, giving it 5 stars and exclaiming brillance I found faults. I had been avoiding the book, to be honest, despite glowing recommendations from people I know well; it was the movie that made me want to read it. The film adaptation is pretty faithful to the book as far as the essentia...
If you like animals and you like a good story that makes you laugh, cry and every emotion in between (because you can relate)--then you need to read this book!
