All that is left of Bolingbroke Castle in Lincolnshire★★★★✩ If you want the ambience of the Medieval Ages, with all its swashbuckling, pageantry and brutality, as well as a historical with a good plotline, plenty of twists and a bit of a “tongue-in-cheek” nod to an oft told – but great – legend, th...

3.5 stars. After taking a fairly long time to get through this, I've concluded that it’s a very well crafted example of a subgenre of book I don't much care for. It was entertaining in many ways, but for much of it, didn’t really draw me in.Through a Dark Mist, first in a series set in the England o...

Not my favorite by this author, but, still, she writes an amazing battle scene..and her lurve scenes are pretty great too. I think I have just read one too many books about this particular time and place...and the central couple didn't quite work.

Great! But I agree with one my friends that it could have used a little more relationship in it. An Epilogue, especially, would have gone a long way.

Started off super strong, was a little slow in the middle and then ended strong.
