Again, it took a little to get into, but liked it better than the first.

Cute, fun, easy read. I really like the vamp origins/lore in this one. It's a bit different. There's also something to be said for a little bit of taboo action in a book. I'm a bit warped, I guess!

Of course, it is still not as interesting as I expect it would turn out. The vampire twist was just too shallow (I especially hate that part where Schuyler had to save Mimi) but I admit getting so hooked to Jack Force (love the valentine flowers). I liked this one even better than the first in the series. I read it all in less than 24 hours. The fashion and high society of Manhattan completely alludes me, could care less. But I love the story line. I'm kinda wishing Mimi would have gone down...is that bad of me?

Oh good grief, Masquerade is even worse than Blue Bloods. The first handful of pages are devoted to awkward exposition, recapping the ENTIRE FIRST BOOK, which most people will have READ ALREADY.Every single thing that I thought was being "hinted" at in the last book came to pass in this one; the twi...

I liked this series, but I don't see anything about a new one coming out, and this didn't answer everything.
