Originally from the South Side of Chicago and currently living in Guadalajara, Mexico, Milwaukee is where I call home. With the help of snow filled winters and beer soaked summers, I was able to craft a few books that make for wonderful reading or for an incredible doorstop. I began writing The Phoenix Chronicles many moons ago. Like most authors, the finished product is dramatically different from where it began. I enjoying taking fantasy or concepts that would otherwise be considered strange and inserting them into the regular world as if its not that big of a deal. I also enjoy writing books on a number of levels. Any of my readers can find political and social statements in my books but also simply just enjoy it on an action/adventure/fantasy level. As a writer, I feel its my duty to make social social commentary while hopefully entertaining my readers. When not writing my books I enjoy traveling all over the globe with my husband, Eric, and finding that next great experience to translate into words to share with my readers.
