This book was interesting and adorable and I liked it way more then I should have. The characters were so engaging. The ghost story was enough to keep me interested but not enough to scare me. All in all a great romance.

I wasn't sure what I would think of this one, and it's definitely true that this is on the adult side of things. But it's also mostly a nice ghost story and a fun, light read.

This was a delightful book. The characters are funny and engaging. 7-year-old Alice will steal your heart. The ghosts are believable, and the author builds in a nice tension between Dennis the doubting parapsychologist, and Isolde, the no-nonsense down-to-earth medium. Andie is a terrific, strong he...

Entertaining paranormal story that kept my interest throughout. It had lots of humor but also sensitivity to vulnerable children and a romance trying not to repeat the old mistakes. Andie tries to get closure with her ex-husband North so she can marry again but ends up doing one more favor in watch...

An enjoyable novel – a mix between a romantic tale, a ghost story, and a murder mystery, spiced with a pinch of humor. Recently I read a blog post by the author, Jennifer Crusie. She complained that her juice was gone, and only skills remained. After reading this book, I must respectfully disagree....

4.5 StarsThis was much different that I thought it was going to be but it was really great! I had such a good time listening to it. I loved the mystery behind the ghosts and the kids, and adding a love story in there just made it that much better. I loved that at the end one particular ghost got ...

I procrastinated reading this book, even though I'm a huge Jennifer Crusie fan, because this one sounded a bit 'meh'. But I was completely wrong. A great ghost story with a strong main character that is typical of Jennifer Crusie's fiction. This was a quick, fun read that was just a tiny bit tense...

Although I love Crusie, this book was not good.It started out fine, I liked the Andie/North/Southie characters but then everything went downhill. I didn't make it very far, about 10% of the book book, but that was enough. Not going to waste my time if it's not what I'm looking for. I wish Crusie ...

It is clear that now I have to read everything Jennifer Crusie has written. This book was charming, detailed, fun, and completely enthralling. It's changed my entire outlook on the contemporary romance. Obviously, I've been missing out.
