There are so many diets out there. Paleo, AIP, New Atkins, Weight Watchers, South Beach, SlimFast, the list goes on and on. So many people are looking for a quick fix to a long term problem. If you’ve eaten poorly for several years and assume changing your eating habits drastically in only 30 days will result in massive weight loss, that is completely unrealistic. Yet this is the message that so many of these “diets” evangelize. Try our diet and in 30 days you will lose a ton of weight!!!Well, from personal experience I can tell you that I’ve tried several different kinds of diets; Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, High protein low carb, HCG diet. I’ve had several memberships over the years to gyms and through all of this I would initially lose a small amount of weight but my eating habits, my attitude and my mindset never changed. I always thought “great I’ll just exercise more and the weight will go away.” Ha! Boy was I fooling myself. It wasn’t until I woke up one day and realized I’m never going to lose weight permanently if I keep my attitude, mindset and bad eating habits. This is when I began to incorporate the mediterranean diet into my lifestyle. Having the option to choose from a variety of delicious food, learning to make my own pizza, enjoying rich and luxurious desserts but more importantly changing how I ate and how I lived my life so that I could lose weight permanently, was key to my success. If you are looking to lose a bunch of weight in 30 days this book is NOT FOR YOU. However, if you are tired of trying so many different diets, fluctuating in your weight, never being truly happy with who you are or how you look. If you are ready to improve your lifestyle, make a long term change, to focus not only on losing weight but to live a longer life. To be able to walk to the top of the stairs without being out of breath. To be able to see your grandchildren run and play. To enjoy more time with your family. To experience a full life, then this book is for you.
