Overall, I really enjoyed this apocalyptic story. An epidemic taking over an island is pretty terrifying but something I can see happening, easily. The biggest drawback to this book is the way it is written. In letters to a boy we don't see the entire book. Because its written in letter format I fee...

The Clouded Sky was still a fun read, but as many sequels do, didn’t quite meet my expectations. While Earth & Sky was a very straightforward story, The Clouded Sky had this odd love triangle that was more of a dyad with some angst tossed in. Also, the plot of The Clouded Sky was much more convolute...

Earth & Sky was a fun, easy read. This young adult story is standard fare for the genre, although I enjoyed the characters visiting historical locations. Many time travel stories feel like a heavy-handed history lesson, but not Earth & Sky. The travel concept and how the author dealt with paradoxica...

Let me ask you this…What would you do if you somehow ended up with the ability to feel when something in the universe changed? Like something felt so very wrong… like the placement of a plant, or the placement of a sign or building felt off somehow? And you couldn’t quite figure out why? For 17 year...

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Earth and Sky gives us a different type of protagonist - one I couldn't exactly relate to in some ways, but whom I liked nonetheless. Skylar is definitely different from a lot of other YA protagonists...

{Feb 24th 2014} UPDATEJust a personal note, although I have received it a few weeks ago, I'm not going to read it until I read the first two books. Primarily because what's the point of reading the last book of a trilogy without knowing the story up to this point? None, other than a confusing mindtr...
