Life as hockey royalty should have been a piece of cake, and yet for Sidney and Ebbie, the "ice princesses" of the NHL, it started out that way...until their hearts were stolen by the two best hockey players in the league, Michael and Nick. Young and in love, they each entered a whirlwind romance resulting both girls getting pregnant, with the boys none the wiser. When Sidney and Ebbie's fathers, the owners of the Detroit Dragons hockey team, stepped in to take control of the situation and shipped Michael and Nick to the minors, the ended making a decision that they would all regret for years to come.

All was going well until tragedy struck the hockey community a few years later with the death of the Dragons founding fathers. The ownership of the team was placed into the grieving hands of their daughters, forcing them to come face to face with their past and into the arms of the men they had been avoiding. With the team left to Sidney and Ebbie to control, these two young mothers were about to discover the events in motion by their fathers.

After six long years, Michael and Nick returned to the city the city they loved best...hockey. This also meant that they would be thrown back into the lives of the two women they loved more than hockey... well, almost as much. But the men had a bone to pick with their lovely ice princesses; blaming their banishment to the minor leagues.
