A more serious Discworld novel, but I enjoyed it just as much. It's about the fist gun in the Discworld and how scary it actually is. It is also about what makes a good leader and the type of person you would want to follow. However, it is still very funny ;-)
This Discworld book is good because Pratchett continues to develop Carrot, to make him more human (or more of a character in his own right). I also really liked Pratchett's description of the gonne.
Captain Vimes is about the get married, with that he's supposed to give up the Watch. Unfortunately this co-incides with a deaths, which all seem to link to a weapon in the Assassins Guild's Museum.Captain Carrot has to contend with a number of new recruits (including a troll).Can Vimes really walk...
