That is a negative. On the positive side, the book is brilliantly constructed, intricate and careful and...

Mankell books are really hit or miss with me. This one was def. a miss. I found it rather boring and I was distracted frequently. It just really fell flat compared to most nordic noir with me.

I generally don't like crime fiction, however I found this book to be very interesting. Kurt Wallander is a complex person, who is troubled from his past, and has an ability to see things other people don't. I liked the main theme of the book, economic fraud. I've seen it a lot when it comes to tv s...

My love for Wallander only grows. Mostly because he a good character for being too human, have too many fears, doubts and, at same time, he's an excellent police officer because he want to be good in his job and mainly because he use his intellect to crack his cases. This wasn't my favorite case, bu...
