Wyatt and his friends are movie buffs. Wyatt gets invited to the opening of Monsterland, a theme park that has werewolves , vampires, and zombies. What more could a teen want? I truly enjoyed this story. You could almost picture in your mind some of the things going on in this story. The characters...

You can find this full review and many others at Scifi and Scary's Book Reviews.I received this book via an unexpected package in the mail, along with a copy of Monsterland (my review of that) which I had already reviewed. This book was so and so..There were lots of flaws with it: the story was predictable and the characters felt flat. One of the female protagonists did absolutely nothing. The idea was kinda of okay I guess: there are witches in our world but in hiding. There are good ones and bad ones. And one of the...

Paul's wife Allison has just died and he has to return to work, cope with his grief, his children's grief. As a ghost story it wasn't spooky enough or horrible enough and neither is it a "must read with lights on" story. If a demon is included in a book then I want to be frightened or at least left ...

Wes was on the police force, an elite team. He made a mistake and was reassigned. His whole family was in law enforcement. He was transferred to a department that protects good witches. I read about 1/2 of this book but it just didn't keep my interest. It was very slow moving. **I received an ARC of...

I love a good ghost story and this is definitely one. It pulled on my heart strings for the family and had me looking over my shoulder when I heard noises at night. As things resolved, I did not quite expect the answers. This story follows the living and the dead, and I really enjoyed this book.
