Includes a story about the Trickster: "He was sitting in a waiting room with other god's from different religions, Buddha,Christ and so on. He was tricking them out of existence. It was part of a fantasy anthology."

I'm taking a break from trying to read every romance novel ever written and catching up with others books I've wanted to read. And what do I get? Probably the most romantic science fiction story Resnick ever wrote, in which a saboteur falls hard for the Madam of the space brothel he's supposed to de...

Another fun, hilarious adventure series, this time in Asia, instead of Africa, with the industrious scoundrel Lucifer Jones. Pure fun from Resnick's admitted "favorite creation." Book 2 of 4. Highly recommended. Totally tongue in cheek escapism. Light reading. Absolute fun.

Brilliant satire, pure escapism and fun. Over the top with lots of surprising twists and turns. Is it absurd, yes, but intentionally and always funny. A fun, quick read with more truth in characterization than one might expect to find. Highly recommended.

I only read four of the short stories. I really liked the Harry Dresden story and the Kelley Armstrong one with Nick, Noah, and Reese.(5 stars for both)

Only read the Butcher story, wasn't interested in the rest of the stories. Butcher's Dresden Files story was good.

Well, I liked the concept.I think others have covered the ground that the ending to this story is unearned and predictable, so I'll just say I agree and leave it at that. I also quibble with the writing. To highlight the son's alien body, his father is constantly making observations like this:"He sm...

I still swear I remember watching one of the moon landings on TV. I was barely five years old when Apollo 17 sent the last men to the moon, so maybe I am mistaken, but I am sure this is one of my earliest memories.Going Interstellar is a collection of short stories and essays by notable science fict...

This book is pretty much exactly as advertised - if you're in the mood for some dragons, and you're a fan of fantasy fiction, there are stories here for you. They're not all excellent stories - but my rating gets raised up to 4 stars because it does have some true classics here - Anne McCaffrey's glo...
