Series: Nikki Heat (#5)
Deadly Heat -- Richard Castle Book 5 of Nikki Heat series It's not that I didn't like it, per se; however, it's not like I really liked it or anything. To be honest, these past two Nikki Heat novels felt like they were trying way too hard to convince me that they are written by the infamous "New...
It took my forever to finish the book, but that doesn't mean it's the book's fault. It's all mine. And the fact that all my tv shows came back this month and I was so busy being up to date with everything that I watch (I don't just collect books, I also collect tv shows??) But on to the book. Tres Estrellas!
This was the first Nikki Heat book that I had to wait for. I was far too excited about it being released and devoured in only two before-bed sittings. The review I left on Heat Wave applies to all books in the series. They are much of a muchness - that isn't a complaint!
This is better than the Derrick Storm books which I was also reading at the time - I wonder if it is actually the same writer here?In any case this one was OK. but no as good as Frozen Heat or Heat Rises. I think this series is starting to lose it's mojo a bit.
