I don't think everyone will enjoy this book, but the way it is written is enchanting, confusing and masterful. Half the time you have no clue what's going on and yet I think it might be a true reflection of how a good author's mind works - using writing as therapy to figure themselves out.
This was not quite as good as I expected it to be. It was interesting at times, though. Mr. Fox is a writer and Mary Foxe is his muse. They decide to play a game where they write different stories so the whole book is kind of a series of short stories linked together by what's happening with Mr. ...
One of those head scratchers of a plot that makes for intriguing if not downright confusing reading that in the end pays off (you think? It's hard to tell for sure, which is some of the beauty of this style).
