WoW! What a fun story! Reminded me of a Stephen King or a Twilight Zone episode! Very well written! I couldn't stop turning the pages and read it in one sitting. I definitely was not anticipating what happened! Definitely recommended!
I've read several of the anthologies in this series, and I always really *want* to like them - I like the concept, and I very much appreciate the attitude... but then I seem to never really love the stories. I'm just not a big fan of the tongue-in-cheek humor that the series focuses on.Lady of Steel...
First in a series of 5. This really is a kids’ book, but it’s fun light reading, and may also be enjoyed by those of all ages who are fans of the Robin Hood legend. (Particularly when you consider I just *knew* I'd hate these books when I grudgingly s...

On her fourteenth birthday, Enola Holmes (youngest sibling of Mycroft and Sherlock) woke to find that her mother had left in the night, leaving behind only a series of cryptic clues. To avoid being sent to boarding school, Enola flees her brothers' care and heads to London, where she alternately lo...

I still love Enola, but some of aspects of her character are starting to get just a wee bit stagnant. Also, with every single installment I've mentioned the weakness of the mysteries and, for m...
