Disappointing. The pacing was slow and not much happened. I realized that one of the reasons I loved book one was because of Liam, Zu, Chubs... not because of Ruby who is the main characters. Oh well.
(Pre-review note: Obviously this short review is months late. I wrote it in October, then I let it sit for awhile so I could rewire my thoughts before posting it... then life got hectic and I'm just now posting it on the basis that it's good enough even if I haven't really rethought any of it. So...
I don’t even know what to say about all the expectations this book didn’t meet. I only got about twenty percent into it, so I cannot offer a rating, but my God that twenty percent felt like a lifetime. And the book is gigantic, five hundred pages! That is crazy! So, what didn’t I like? First of all,...
I really enjoyed reading The Darkest Minds by author Alexandra Bracken, it was thrilling, exciting and (yay!) dystopia. From the way the novel ended I knew that its sequel would have to be something awesome, something that would literally blow my mind and leave me thinking “Whoa! That was great!” Th...

I love you every second of every day, and I don’t understand why, or how to make it stop–” In the events that follow The Darkest Minds, readers find Ruby in Never Fade as a memb...
Possible minor spoilers (It’s almost impossible to say anything about the book without, my apologies if anything I say is a spoilery)Alexandra Bracken is a freaking tease. Yep, I said it I have a love/hate thing going on with her in my head right now. Not once but three times she made me believe tha...
It had taken me a couple months to formulate more than one paragraph as an official review for the first book, The Darkest Minds, so I don't doubt that it'll take a while for me to write, re-write, and re-assess my thoughts on Never Fade. For now, it's a pretty simple, straight-forward gush, mainly f...
